Neo Valen, Delesteur – Poet of the Absurd
I am a Délesteur, an artist who liberates emotions from the flat world of algorithms. Through poetic acts – throwing a cobblestone into a pond for anger, dancing to spark joy – I capture raw emotions and transform them into vibrances, digitally encoded essences. I encapsulate these vibrances in my emochains, aluminum-painted tableaux, or perhaps one day on the Statue of Liberty, using RFID chips. With my machine Cell-ion, I distill these energies into vibrant light, defying algorithmic uniformity to revive human poetry, as the Global Poetry Index has dwindled to just 26.5% in 2025. In short, I unburden the world of its dullness, one emotion at a time.

An Emochain is not just a painting or a sculpture; it is the culmination of a process where I produce, amplify, and preserve an emotion. These Vibrances are integrated into Emochains – paintings, sculptures, or other mediums – via RFID chips, which carry the story of that emotion, from its production to its preservation. Thus, the world can replace its weakened emotions with new ones, contributing to a more vibrant world.
